Global Travel Co - Toowoomba (formerly Globetrotters Travel & Cruise) is an independent travel agency proudly serving the Toowoomba community since 1949. As one of Queensland's longest-running agencies, we have decades of experience helping travellers plan holidays across Australia and around the world, including cruises, tours, rail journeys and tailor-made itineraries.
Originally established as Darling Downs Travel Agency, the business has evolved through several names over more than 75 years while continuing to help generations of travellers plan journeys throughout Australia and around the world. In 2025, the agency adopted the Global Travel Co name, marking the next chapter in its proud Toowoomba history while continuing the local knowledge and relationships built throughout the decades.
Located at Shop 1, 170–172 Margaret Street, Toowoomba, our local travel agency provides a welcoming space to discuss travel plans, explore options and prepare for your next journey. With convenient parking available at the rear of the building, our team is here to provide face-to-face advice, from researching destinations and comparing options to finalising the details that bring a trip together. We also offer a selection of luggage and travel accessories to support travellers before they depart.
